Biography
David Mouton is an American saxophonist, and the owner of Souled Out Entertainment, a musical group based in Louisiana that has been providing entertainment for weddings, corporate events and other live music venues since 2001.
Dave grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and earned his B.A. in Music Performance from The University of Louisiana-Lafayette. He studied with Dr. Robert Luckey and Dr. William J. Hochkeppel during his tenure. In the year 2000, he founded Souled Out, and has performed at thousands of events across the southern region of the United States. Souled Out has earned five ‘Couples Choice Awards” (2016-present) and is a three time ‘Best Of Weddings’ award recipient from The Knot. Souled Out has been voted ‘Best Band’ by The Times Of Acadiana (2018-2019) and ‘Best Of The Bayou’ by The Tri-Parish Times. Dave is an endorsed artist for Jerry Harvey Audio, Presonus Electronics and Syos - Shape Your Own Sound mouthpieces.
Dave currently resides in Youngsville, Louisiana with his wife, Jessica and their beautifully family of eight children, two grandchildren and their dog, Beaux.
